I just got news yesterday that my ADSL connection or should i say my boyfriends ADSL connection has been cut because the universities internal provider has gotten into a conflict with their top level provider and they have cut off all connections. I won;t have any internet until those 2 ahole companies sort things out so it could be a couple of weeks in which i won't be arround much. I'm posting this via our old ISDN modem i dug up out of the basement to tell everybody why i won't be arround very much. I'll try to be arround as much as i can
That's a real shitter mate. I hope you get some sort of compensation from those two arse hole companies. Yakumo
Can't you go on the internet in your college? That's what I love about my college - soo much free internet! There must be about 20 computer labs in mine that you can go in anytime (unless there's a lab on in there, but there's two places where there's never labs), and a couple of them even have CD burners on all the PCs! Sure, some of them are *supposed* to have restricted card access only, but jamming the door open with a chair or bin usually solves that problem. "Yeah, sure, I'm a 19-year-old postgrad. It makes perfect sense!"
Update time: Today i finally had the chance to get online for a few minutes. My providers are close to a settlement and they are looking at alternatives, with a bit of luck i'll have ADSL by thursday. And man do i need internet back badly there are over 100+ topics on this board alone that i have to read up to.
