http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=211709 Reference note, It seems famitsu gave blue dragon a 37/40. (i'm too lazy to verify)
Didn't Famitsu give Mass Effect a lower score because the reviewer didn't like the freedom of choice, and didn't like that a "bad" choice would make the game experience worse? I mean thats like the whole point of RPGs like that.
Very interesting. Main Famitsu gave it 9 9 9 9. LoL Still over all anything above 30 (total) is pretty good.
I might be highly pro PSP but I still have a 360 & Xbox 1. I only stand up for the ps3 around here since it's so highly 1 sided. My view of famitsu is anything above 30 warents a look. Anyways the news from neogaf is the first numbers I posted were fake. It scored a little higher in the x360 mag but still underscored the 9999 by the weekly magazine.
Wait, was Mass Effect all 9's? I meant some troll went out of their way to make a detailed Famitsu review of Mass Effect (Even though it wasn't reviewed by them at the time) and saying things like "Its a typical Action American game with choices that can ruin your gameplay experience" or something like that. Whoever made it really went for the "Grind loving Elitist Japanese asshole" vibe, and lots of people thought it was real. *Checks Google* Well, it probably WAS a troll post, because apparently some clown edited its wikipedia entry with the whole thing typed. I think its fake, as it says crap like "Its bad because it doesn't have grind" which is really ridiculous, imo.
Wait, Famitsu main gave Lost Odyssey a 9/9/9/9 or Mass Effect that? If Mass Effect, I already knew it was that good. If Lost Odyssey, awesome, as I have high hopes for that one (note: I LOVED Blue Dragon).
When I watched the demonstration at the TGS vids on XBL, it looked kind of bland, but who knows. I liked Blue Dragon when I rented it but I just couldn't get into the story or charectars.
Yeah, I usually hear Famitsu is bad about not giving honest reviews if you throw enough cash at them. Isn't Halo 3 the only decently rated FPS over there, because Microsoft gave them lots of cash?
