Luigi's Mansion 2 for WiiU?

Nothing but rumours so far, but definitely interesting.

 

Never played much mario after snes world *shrugs* I could see the whole "cross platform" thing being a possibility with something like that, like using the 3ds with the wii u etc etc... super gameboy and gamecube with gba stuffs.

I loved Luigi's Mansion. A Wii U version of Luigi's Mansion 2 would be cool, as long as it isn't just a port of the 3DS version.

 

I thought Luigi's Mansion 2 is going to be on 3DS :/

I'd prefer if it wasn't, portable game systems little screens give me headaches.

 

This game, and Pikmin 3. If those are launch titles I'm pre-ordering.

 

If this is a straight move of the game, then it doesn't make much sense since I thought the whole reason LM2 was on the 3DS was because LM was original envisioned as a 3D game.

If anything, I would imagine it'll be a different version and the two will have cross-play so Nintendo can have something shiny for 3DS owners/early Wii U adopters to tinker with.
