Okay so I recently acquired a iMac G4. I have it networked with my Macbook over ethernet. Rather than copying my entire iTunes folder over to its small hard drive I just have iTunes on the iMac reading my Macbook music library as its own. The only problem is that if I add new music to the library or make changes the iMac fails to register the differences unless I import the whole library all over again. Does anyone know how to change this. I'm quite fluent with Mac hardware and software but I can't find a way around this.
