I havent touched my decks since I left school, was playing a white ,red and black deck that relied heavily on artifacts(to get and keep my platinuim angels into play)

I played a lot back in the day, up to Torment, 7th Edition and the likes.

I stopped playing/collecting in 2003, and sold all my cards, kept just one Red/Blue deck.

The deck is mostly direct damage and counterspells, with a few creatures, nothing too great though, I just kept it because it was the latest deck I was building.

Now I play every now and then when I go to my cousin's place, and every now and then fire up a match against AI in the latest Magic The Gathering PC game (Planeswalkers 2011).

Started playing the 2011 planeswalker on the 360, kind of fun having it online against my friends. I love card battling games but not many on home consoles.

started up a little before phyrexia. You should go to pre-releases, they are amazingly fun.
    I play a green/black. Wurm, phyrexia combo.

Played from 95 to 2001 competitively, kept all my cards and funnily enough, started buying some again last week.

I have some 2500 cards, I play every now and then. Started in 1997, played on a regular basis until 2005. Most of the new cards are overpowered, and I don't like some of the new rules, like the new card drawing rules for example. We play by house rules at home.

I played a lot when I was young, I think Mirage was the set that was out.

Then I tried to pick it back up a few years ago to play with some friends but did not like the new mechanics they keep writing in.
So I stopped playing, and probably won't ever again unless my brother pulls out all of our old cards someday.

We have a LOT of cards. An unbelievable amount.

I played back in the day... started around the time Revised came out. Then The Dark, etc.

What have I got left? Hmm, well my collection - basically everything complete from Revised up to the Urza's block or maybe the one after. A fair bit of Arabian Nights - all the commons for sure. A Mox Emerald. And probably about 10,000 other cards. I have a huge toolkit full of them. I used to play red/green and was collecting four of every black bordered red and green card I could get my hands on, basically! Oh, and a couple of hundred Mons' Goblin Raiders... I collected those for an in-joke lol. And empty booster boxes from just about any set within that range, plus Arabian Nights, The Dark and Unlimited. I don't think I managed to get the Legends one, can't remember.

Oh yeah, and I still have the boxes left that I tried to sell the other year on the forum. A tray of 10 Revised starter decks, probably 1 or 2 Revised booster boxes and I think at least 5 boxes of Fallen Empires boosters.

Haha! We had a couple hundred Cephalid Aristocrats with my cousin as in-joke as well

I forgot to say, the main reason I stopped playing was that it was (and still is) very expensive to play and collect Magic TCG actively here in Uruguay (as it is with gaming and everything else :banghead:)

Back in 2000 I used to have a blue Merfolk deck then switched to a pure direct damage red deck.

Stopped playing when I went to Uni in 2003. Great game but I hear it's been horribly modernised.
