Magnavox Odyssey2 Replacement PSU?

    Hello everyone! My Odyssey2 PSU is making a very loud buzzing noise so I was thinking about replacing it. The PSU outputs 11.5V AC and 400mA. Before I go searching online, would the 12V AC 500mA PSU I have work? The connector fits but I was afraid that it might damage the console.

    Any ideas?
