I just watched D and D on Icons and was starting to get interested in some MMORPG gaming. What are some good ones to try? Im getting FFXI, but what else is good? Besides that, im thinking of getting into some general PC gaming as well, like Diablo, and doom, and Starcraft. (I have never played these before, except doom.) So, since I never really "got" into PC gaming, what were some good ones that I missed/am missing right now? P.S. I know emulation isnt exactly pc gaming.
Starcraft, Diablo, and Diablo 2 are some of the most addictive gaming experiences I've ever had. Diablo 2 especially: when I got that I was on it from 9 in the morning until 2 or 3 in the morning, every day for over a week. Planescape Torment is another well-regarded PC RPG, I've got it sitting here next to me waiting to be played. A gamer friend says it's probably the best game he's ever played, and if he says a game is good, he's generally right.
