Yesterday Majesco published its year-end financial report which showed a massive loss in the last quarter - a net revenue of $4.6 million for the period, just 10% of the same period's earnings in 2004. A statement released by Majesco quoted its president, Jesse Sutton, admitting frankly that "[t]his has been a difficult year for Majesco.... Recently, we evaluated our product portfolio and have sold or cancelled most of our premium console titles that were scheduled for release in 2006 and beyond.
I would have loved to play Taxi Driver, even though it looked horrible and doesn't make sense as a videogame. Majesco puts out some garbage but they do get quality games on the shelf. I would hate to see them go, it puts us one step closer to an EA tyrannical dictatorship.
