It's amazing what you will read whilst sitting on the toilet. Anyway, I was flickking through the INDEX catalogue when I came across this Famicom Clone with Konami rip off gun and Mega Drive rip off pad. surely it can'tbe legal to sell these things? Also came across this little gem or should that be crap? Yakumo
LOL, not surprised. Unlicensed clones with built-in games were ateveyr shopping centre I went to in the UK, from the Shires in Leicester to the Bullring in Birmingham as well as the Pallisades. Even gagdgetshop had a leats one unlicensed clone.
I'm going to refrain from any number racial jokes I can make. on topic, a visitor we've had in our office brought his family over this time, as it's the last trip to Japan (remember- -- moving). I had dinner with them. His daughters boyfriend (18 years old) was talking about Akihabara. I asked him what he was going to buy. He said, "I'd like to pic up a bootleg Famicom if they have them." I thought that was a kind of strange answer, but relatively pleasing.
Do they happen to have this catalouge up on the web? That INTV thing, those are just LCD games, right? But they have little controllers hooked up to it? Looks kinda cool as I'm into retrogames.
Funny this topic --- I was just talking to a Japanese chick that was born and raised in Mexico City. So, her name is Ishihara, somethimg something, then some Mexican name.... weird mix. You don't see them that often. I didn't ask about Wal Mart thought.
