I got this guy filing a false dispute on paypal saying I never sent him anything when I did send it. The 3 options for the dispute resolution are give a refund, provide tracking info to prove item was delivered, and prove a refund was given. THATS IT,.... and if i cant do any of the 3, after 7 days they will take the money out of my account and give it back!! I cant do any of the 3 options because #1 im certainly not giving him a refund, and #2 there was no shipping involved, so I cant provide any tracking info.. And even if there was, i use standard mail with no tracking, so I still wouldnt be able to do it.. What kind of messed up system is this?? And to make matters worse, these paypal people dont reply to emails.. Im totaly clueless as to what im supposed to do, and in a few more days they will just take the money. has anyone dealt with a no reciept claim before??
Bank reciepts!!! Take out a statement. Check the statement and look for that transaction. Call up paypal and tell them you have a withdrawal reciept that paypal took for x amount of $ pertaining to the dispute. That or close your bank out, lie to your bank that you think there has been fraudulent use that way paypal can't get into it because its restricted. <<<Do that as a last resort though.
What did you sell him without shipping? Like some ebook pyramid scheme? Can you send it to the guy again or contact him?
LOL, no, its not a pyramid scheem, but it was just information sent to him via email (yes, I sell info on ebay ) .. Ive already contacted him and he's just playing stupid now, so nothing will be accomplished trying to work it out with him.. I sent him the info 2 times... Of course this is a classic case of a person thinking I was selling an xbox console itself. I state VERY clearly in the description that im selling info. I do not do anything to make people believe im selling anything other than info, yet it never fails, people dont read anything..
Then you shouldn't be selling info which people could think was an item. And you do have tracking if you sent the e-mail - it will be in your sent box and if you asked for a read receipt (which I usually do) then you have your evidence. If not, send it again with a read receipt request and the buyer will probably look at it and send the receipt.
Oh god, you don't do those "BIN $20 PSP" auctions where you link to some clearance warehouse that has never even heard of a PSP? But do what LeGIt said, if it's just en email, just re-send it with a "request read receipt" on it. I personally think those information scammers on ebay (im not saying you are, as I have no idea what you are selling) should be banned. Shit like "unlock codes" for phones that are freely available on any phone website, "How to make a 15 foot TV" diagrams but needing a fresnel lens you sell for $49.99 (when they are $2.99 in most book shops for old people to read with) And don't get me started on those pyramid scheme whores...
I agree with Tachikoma - I have little respect for info sellers who go to great lengths to obfuscate the true nature of what they're selling.
Also even then why are you so upset... You sold him information... something you sent him in an e-mail... You havent lost anything of value! If he does end up getting the cash file with ebay for a no paying bidder and then get the fees back.... Paulo
If you are one of those "xbox warehouse supply" guys then personally I have a lot more sympathy with the buyer.
So send him the damn E-mail again. What, you're gonna run out or something? And have a way to prove you sent the email and that's that. Please explain what and how you sold so we can properly understand the character of the transaction.
Reads... please explain what crap you sold to the poor guy so we can have a nice go at you! :angry :smt043
Seriously dude, I was pitying you when I read your first post...and then when you got to info selling... :smt082 Haha, you're screwed, deal with it.
Show me the auction & if I agree with you I'll tell you how I got out of a very similar situation with PayPal.
Yea, I make it VERY clear that im selling info.. Im not trying to decieve anyone. I even list these auctions in the "information" catagory, and not in the video game systems catagory like some others do. Here is a link to one of the auctions. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...p;item=5556752490&ssPageName=STRK:MESO:IT You can see that I make it very clear that im selling info. Im only interested in selling my info to people who want it, yet people just dont read ANYTHING, and I often get people who still managed to misunderstand the auction. People will even go out of their way to write me an email and ask all of the questions that are in the description, before even bothering to read the description. Its like they are alergic to reading descriptions.
Oh and by the way, I really couldnt care less about what you think of my operation. Thats not the issue here. I make a pretty good side income doing that, and there is nothing wrong with it. If your too stupid to read a description and you bid on my auctions thinking your buying something other than im selling, then its nobodies fault but your own.
