I have to disagree Greatstlouis about the gamecube pad, to me it seems like the most logical of the three big consoles. But is it really the amount of buttons on a game pad? Or is it how the game uses them.? Mario Sunshine uses all the buttons and both analog sticks perfectly, everything makes sense, and it becomes instinctual as to which button to press. By Contrast Enter the Matrix has controls that are all screwed up. As for games being too hard, don't US companies usually up the difficulty when they import Japanese games? I know Sega used to do this alot. I think it has something to do with people in Japan enjoying the story of the game, while US gamers enjoy the challange.
i really love games that are easy to learn and dificult to masterise , but now , for the most of the time, its dificult to learn and easy to masterise (when you have learn ,sure) and, Us compagny low the dificulty of the game , because japan are pros ! when they have a new game the always play it until they masterise it. ff 6 is difficultier than ff3 , and , and :smt040 ff5 :smt040 was replaced by :smt019 mystic quest :smt019 (too easy) in usa sorry if i make errors i fell really sleepy. :smt015
Totally disagree. The first generation US Saturn controller was THE best for Street Fighter. My roommate and our neighbors played SF Zero 2 hardcore for over a year, and it was the agreement that the winner kept the first gen controller. The D-Pad on it was infinitely superior to the JPN version, imho. Agreed.
GC controller Personally I HATE the GC controller. It's something about the odd shapped buttons that just irks me. I like my controllers with buttons the same size and simple lay out, especially for fighting games.
