i was thinking of buying a second ps2 since my first one is dieing... what are my solutions for playing imports from the states in a PAL machine? any special device etc? i would prefer not to resort to modchips for keeping my warrantry alive, but if no other solution is viable.... also test ps2 are not in sale or too costy for my pockets... (if you have one CHEAP PM me )... all suggestions are welcome! karsten
Depending on whats wrong with the first one, it might be better and cheaper just to tweak the laser (if thats the problem) and stick a chip in there while it's open.
I looked into different methods to softmod the ps2. I find the memor32 card with the memento bios is great for booting just about anything. Its also good with the hdd kit.
