Here are two Pics of My Mame Cabinet!

Started out life as plain old Jamma cabinet (Had Eswat in when bought). Was basically a wreck that had been abandoned in a horrible grotty warehouse, but still worked!
Did the conversion in a way where is easily fully reversible!

The cabinet is powered by a nice nifty fast Laptop which sits ontop (can be seen opened on last pic!)

I have a X arcade and its good. Good enough for me. But the harcore 2d fighter guys like to buy the x arcade controllers and swap out the buttons and joystick for happ competition components.

Depends on how you define good. I don't like X-Arcades, they're primarily for new consoles and PCs and while they're functional, I find them gynormous and ugly. If you want to play MAME with a joystick they're decent but hardcore hardcore fans will build their own units with better than Happ controls and competition buttons.

  11. Heh, did that with a PS2 Pelican RealArcade stick - size and feel of real arcade controls, 1/3 the price of an X-Arcade. I love it.
