What's going on with maplins where do we buy electronics from shops like that in the future I know there's websites. I seen there website is still there. Are they having a closeing down sale.
No, they're continuing to trade in administration (for now). It's not like they did proper electronics for years. They slowly phased out a lot of components, started selling computer parts at their fixed catalogue prices that quickly became really expensive, then they scrapped their paper catalogue (although it had gone downhill... in the Eighties and Nineties it was more like a bible full of datasheets, charts and helpful tips), then they started doing tacky toys and gadgets, then they stopped selling any decent-brand tools and moved everything to one brand. You can get memory cards cheaper in Sainsbury's or Currys... that's embarrassing. And their website SUCKS - even their staff will admit that. The search is pretty much useless. Rutland have killed the company. They did the same thing that killed Tandy and Radio Shack. It's been nearly 25 years since Doug and Roger sold up... and they must be cringing at what happened to their once-great company.
