I dont know why you linked to all the pictures. Anyways, I hear the Koopa kids are coming back this time around!
A little upset that it's all polygons, but that's old news. At least he's doing what he's famous for, and not playing tennis or some shit.
Well, as long as the sequels don't go like this: New Super Mario Bros. Newer Super Mario Bros. Newest Super Mario Bros. Even Newer Super Mario Bros. The Franchise Formerly Known As Super Mario Bros.
I think New Super Mario Bros is a good name, now people know it's really a new version not a port or a remake.
Very excited about this. Looks like yet another awesome title for the DS....so many games, so little money...
me too, but i guess its better than nothing. Im a little concerned abour the stages designs though, they seem simplistic and dull, from what you can see with the provided screenshots. Nothing like the old Super mario bros on the Nes, by exemple. Maybe its to bring more people in, i dunno, but i hope i am wrong. What i like about the tittle is that its old school, it reminds us of the good old days, with the good old mario, on the good old nes, an i think nintendo wanted that. The NES was the console that everyone played, it was simple and fun, and everyone could jump in. Everyone played Mario bros at least once. Now imagine someone seeing this in a store, someone that enjoyed mario bros on the nes, but isnt a gamer anymore, hey may see this and remember how fun and simple the super mario bros where when he was young, and get it. I dunno if i explained that right, i just woke up and im still a bit sleepy. But i guess its understandable....right?
Hit then nail on the head Parents who played it and the kids have a DS...perhaps dad will have to make a purchase Haven`t looked to much into it but do we know if multiplayer fun as well somewhere?
This cover already has me sold, though whats tripping me out is gigantic mario, what role is he suppose to play? Still is it just me or has this game been in dev for awhiel, to be honest i though they were going to quietly cancel this game.
I thought this game has already been out? Well it looks amazing to me! I'm sure to buy it in the near future...
So is this a brand new game or an enhanced version of Super Mario World? From those linked pics, it bears more than a passing resemblance to SMB4...
It's pretty sad that Nintendo actually has to say it's a new game so people will know it's not a remake. But I still look forward to it. I'm actually glad it comes out in May as my gaming budget will soon be completely shot with Tetris DS and Metroid Prime Hunters.
