Mario Kart Arcade exists as GD-ROM ?

I stumbled across this post, unit already sold, which says it comes with a working Mario Kart 1 GD-Rom.

To my knowledge Mario Kart Arcade GP wasnt exisiting as GD-Rom but only as Cartridge ?

As I cant find any more infos or pictures via google, does anyone care to enlighten me ?

 

incorrect description, there was photo of Triforce Type-3 with cartridge, not GD-ROM
