i started to get crazt about game cube bonus/collector discs, and i was wondering what was on the MK: DD!! Bonus Disk, i've heard there was an emulated version of mario kart 64, using the same emulator nintendo used for ocarina/master quest and majora's mask, is it true? EDIT: scrap it, i would like informations about every bonus or collector discs on the cube you know about.
PAL or US version? If I remember correctly, the PAL version was one of the places that had the Zelda: Collectors Edition. The US had a few demos on it (Such as Sonic Heroes). The only other open demo disk I can think of was the Nintendo Gamecube Preview Disc, which had demos for: -Splinter Cell -Sonic Adventure DX -Billy Hatcher -Soul Calibur etc.
i had that version and belive me your not missing anything, it had the following * Demos of Mario Party 5, F-Zero GX, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike, and Sonic Heroes * Video of 1080 Avalanche, Kirby Air Ride, Pokemon Colosseum, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Harry Potter: Quiddich World Cup, NBA Live 2004, and Spongebob Squarepants: The Search for Bikini Bottom * Game Link transferrable exclusive content for Fire Emblem on Game Boy Advance to be honest unless you want to play demos of these games to see if you want them, its not worth your time, as for what jason mentioned, that was for a demo disc given out durring a time when nintendo was lowering the price of the game cube and giving them otu as an insentive to buy them.
I have a couple of sealed GC bonus/promo DVD's that you may or may not be interested in: *Nintendo GameCube 2001 preview disc (comes sealed in a purple GC shaped cardboard sleeve)....this was distributed before the GC was released in the US during fall of 2001. It's a tiny disc that only plays in a PC/Mac and gives you a few glimpses of the system and games. *Nintendo Preview DVD (comes in a black cardboard sleeve with a silver GC and Metroid Prime on the cover). Has previews and features of Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine, Animal Crossing, etc. as well as commercials, features, videos, and more. Plays on a DVD player or a PC with DVDROM drive. If you're interested in any of these for your collection, let me know.
Would be quite awesome to have that Mario Kart 64 emulated version cahaz was talking about, at any rate. I have the Mario Kart disk amd some Japan only stuff if he's interested too, oh snap I forgot But I guess that only applies to me since some people thought I was a noob. Sorry I had an anxiety attack thinking I would be chewed out by a mod maybe if I started saying I might have something you'd like outside the market forum. I do like it here with decent people like yourselves. It didn't feel right honestly saying coarse stuff in the thread. If you'd like to know I wanted to tell you about a gold bonus disk that isn't public that I managed to get a few copies of if it's ok.

the pal version came with a zelda bonus disc which had both n64 zelda's, both nes zelda's, and ura zeldo on them oh and a demo fo the wind waker. It was part of the mariokart: DD pack set. I've never seen a demo disc that had the n64 version of mariokart on it though
Its ok to say that you have stuff but if you're thinking about selling stuff then take it to the correct thread or leave it to PMs. Simple really Nobody is against you here but maybe you'd like to lighten your tone a bit. yea i got that zelda demo disc it has on it zelda 1 zelda 2, zelda OoT,zelda MM, zelda windwaker demo....has 3 parts of the dem o to it...each 20 minutes long.....it also had a history of zelda movie and some info slides on the game..the ura zelda was released on the demo disc you got if you preordered the windwaker...man best disk in my collection

Pokemon collosseum Kakuchou disk (obtained by preordering pokemon collosseum from the pokemon centre in japan) Legend of zelda/ura zelda bonus disk (obtained from preordering windwaker) Biohazard 0 trial version (given out when you preordered biohazard 0) Tower of druaga (obtained by preordering Baten kaitos) Biohazard 4 demo disk (came inside the famitsu capcom special edition magazine) Pacman Vs (obtained through club nintendo) Zelda collection, has both ocarina of time & majoras mask plus the 2 nes zeldas on it. (obtained through club nintendo) Also (not pictured) Metal gear (obtained inside the metal gear solid gamecube bundle) Rune 2 demo (obtained inside the Nintendo dream magazine) There used to be demo disks called E-catalogues that nintendo used to put inside certain games. They used to have 1 playable demo & lots of pics & movies from other games. They only released 2 before they started giving them away by club nintendo. Every couple of months if your a platinum member you get sent a demo disk. This is the one i got from last xmas, it has playable demos of viewtiful joe 2 & naruto gekitou ninja taisen 3.
Not sure if this one's come up yet. Whilst it may be totally irrelevant, if you're after promo discs it's worth mentioning the Splinter Cell UK Demo that was (I believe) the first western Gamecube demo and was certainly one of very few GC discs to have found its way onto the cover of a magazine. This one was mounted on the cover of Britain's "NGC" magazine. It features a pretty hefty section of Splinter Cell's Embassy level from late in the game, and it even works with the GBA Link cable like the complete game does.
