Not to toot my own horn, but I have bought stuff sight-unseen before... A lot of it. And I don't mean like $25 a year for shovelware/sports protos either. I'd say the usefulness of protos is 5%-10% tops on average, most protos are money down the drain. And you mostly don't get the comforts of even being sure the seller is legit (with DreamTR, you know this stuff isn't fake). I understand the risks of proto business, and the laws of risks/tradeoff.

I guess some might find that idiotic, but who doesn't try doesn't win =)

Beta review debug wow. talk about a heated topic at times I have been following this for a while. Since I can only speak for myself when I buy one of these type games Either A it is low cost were I do not worry about it or 2 I know the seller through this board. Especially after xors tool I really stopped most 360 purchases.

If you are in to collecting these type games you have to understand some debugs may end up being final releases and nothing different. Just away they get marked during test process. Finding debug screens extras is the gem we all search for. Sometimes you get it sometimes you dont. That is part of collecting.

I am glad I am not into selling because to go through and verify contents goodluck, that is way beyond the free time I have. My wife, daughter, work and school consume most of my time. I would suspect it will cut down on some people selling items but I could be wrong.

My 2 cents breakdown. if you buying a games that is anything but retail know who you are buying from. If you have an issue email or PM the person. 99% of the time the issue can be resolved and if you are only looking for games with debug menus in it ask the seller if it has them. If the seller answers "may be but I dont know for sure" if this was me then I would probably pass.

Anyways thats my thoughts, enough said, If you dont like anything I have said... dont scream at me please :) this is just how I view and buy stuff..In the end this is assemblers site, his rules and I am grateful to be part of it. :)

Ok so to get this straight if you compare the data and it does not match the retail version 100% it is now a "beta" but if it does match the retail version 100% it is a "review"

Basically this concerns stuff like UK white labels, which are just retail copies in advance most times.

I don't have time to read this whole thread and decide, I'll be free in a day or so.
