So I buy it on sale on steam. Supposed to be "the shit" and has a great review score, etc. Load the game. All items highlighted and glow Health recharges, impossible to die pretty much Pointless achievements (you get one for changing the color of your clothes) Told where to go with giant glowing arrows Told where to stand with giant glowing circles Enemies all slowly advance toward you, don't take cover. Non-interactive environments Did people suddenly forget how to play games? Do I really need to be spoon fed every single action? It's like they took Knights of the old republic, put training wheels on it and called it mass effect 2.
Reviewers are getting younger along with the gamers, so they probably wouldn't know what a real game was even if it sat on their head -_-
Even past that level, it's still minimally interactive and an on-rails gameplay. HURRY TO THE DOOR Repeat for the next few hours. YOU HAVE TO sigh
Beats the "ultra-realistic" combat of Dragon Rising Seriously, the first Flashpoint was awesome, but this one? everything is fucking BROWN, my left eye almost dies of all the squinting I've to do to see the chinese shooting at me. Most achievements are pointless, they force-feed gamers that crap because it's incredibly easy to make those. Point in case, even iphone and flash games have achievements now. What happened with bonus levels? and truly unlockable content, not just shitty eye candy
I have, this new flashpoint makes GoW look bright and colorful I can spot a guy walking in a field 2 miles away IRL, but here? I see a white thing at the distance, which doesn't happens with troops wearing camo
What I found funny is everyone is wearing fitness clothing. The first stage is like a massacre in a gym.
You dont get it! thats how everything will be in the future! Watch Space 1999, wasn't 1999 just like that? /sarcasm
