Never happen before in the last few decades. I know it is not as big as those we seen else where. This one is serious shit. Even the tourists are stunned. Some pictures and videos to share. Credits to the owners. [/QUOTE] Wendy's Starbucks ~
All these stuff shouldnt happen. And we take everything for granted. Crippled the entire City Centre ~
Credits to the owners of the photos. Wendy's just started operation for 3 days. And there goes their stuff.. Hermes also pwned by the flood. I guess we gotta expect the unexpected. My generation of people never seen such things in our life.
It actually rained there everyday I was there a few months back, but nothing even close to this occurred. What eventually caused this to happen?
Damn, sad to see your beautiful country submerged. BTW, have you seen the floods in southern France? http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/world/europe/10327034.stm
Floods can change everything in a day they are really bad but unfortunately its nothing we can do to stop. I just hope everyone gets to safe grounds who are suffering in this at the moment.
No one died or got hurt according to the News. I think the 2 hrs downpour = the usual rainfall for the whole month. Just some damages to the shops n the vehicles.
Angry Citizens blaming the Governtment. With huge pun intended. For their slow response and assumtion that it wont flood in that area ever again pior to tis flood. ]

Clogged drain as they claimed. Yeah, saw n read about it. I guess because we never experience any floods, we took everything for granted. That suck right.. Retailers were hit the most. It only occur in downtown. Residential area were spared. Yup. No one was hurt. Thanks man! Do visit Singapore!
Seeing stuff like this and noticing the other floods that are occurring elsewhere just makes me think all cities will be submerged someday :X
Thats mother nature, crazy bitch... Funny how the biggest extinction event ever, the Permian, was caused by a series of mega-volcanoes appearing over siberia, releasing billions of tons of CO2 to the atmosphere and turning the oceans to acid. And we're the bad guys.
haha! you came to Singapore before? Hmm.. im fine. Just that my office got some minor damages. Everything here is back to normal, subsided like in a day. Thanks! I think China Flood.. Thats the real massive one. 10million people are affected!
