Wow thats so fucking neat, never heard of it. When i was younger i used to draw pictures of my devised master system floppy or CD-rom expansion to use the underneath port. Including a MSIII duo combo system....years before any other MS follow on hahah sad i know............it was gonna have the third Zillion game too :/.

Yup, that was me. Posted it in the Every Unreleased Console thread a week ago. I'd never seen it before either. I'd love to know if any game software was proto'd, or if any SMS games have their original roots in a diskgame, and then moved to cart.
I`ve a teory, what if this adapter had a 68000 inside it? what if this thing is the original concept of the megadrive I always wonder why the MD was called like that if it doesnt has a drive? In my humble opinion it makes a lot of sense, since after the sucess of the Genesis sega went and build all kind of accesories and addons
