When I received my mega-everdrive I had no clue it had SMS support! I was very pleased. I just wanted to ask if the unit emulates the master system, or if it uses the internal z80 like the power base converter did
Master System games aren't emulated, they're running off the Genesis/Mega Drive hardware. EverDrive-MD can play Master System games as well. Also, since it is the Genesis, video mode limitations are the same as with a Power Base Converter (i.e. no F-16 Fighting Falcon).
