Yeah, um, ok. My collection 'aint too amazing. At all. And it's tiny. I'd say it's quality over quantity but it doesn't have quality either, so there goes that idea. I've been playing / collecting since forever but it's only recently I've started a mostly japan themed collection as of like, a year and a bit ago. And money is tight. Anyway, here we go. CLICK THE SYSTEM NAMES for the pictures. Nintendo DS--- Xenosaga arrived yesterday. My japanese is very minimal so I can only tell if someone is saying "Yes" or "No" or "Amazing!" or "Everyone, you can do it!" and so on. DSL is a recent addition, and how could I not get Super Princess Peach? That's about it. Oh. Rockman is very hard. Nintendo GameBoy--- Cheap portion to sustain. Nothing that special at the moment. Nintendo GameBoy Advance--- Again, nothing amazing apart from the Play-Yan which I like. The micro did have a box, I even got it from the Tokyo Pokemon Center, but on my way around the world the box got damaged and I chucked it. Which I regret. How can I get another box? Lol. No seriously. Is there a way? Nintendo GameBoy Colour--- Don't laugh. The game was about $3.50 in NZD. That's cheap enough for me to buy it. And um yeah, that's all for the GBC portion. Nintendo GameCube--- Haven't updated this in ages. Oh well. Notice how they're not Japanese? Nintendo Entertainment System (Cartridges)--- Just for fun. Not actually part of my actual collection actually actual. Nintendo Super Famicom--- Okay. Super Bomberman 3 and B-Daman I actually bought factory sealed. And B-Daman even comes with the B-Da figurine. And SD Gundam is a BSX cartridge. That's good right? Rockman X is in pretty bad condition though. And I really need a Super Famicom to play these one, as my converter 'aint sufficient. Sega Saturn--- This is new. As soon as I got the Saturn at a convenient price and location I bought a few cheap games. Other than the Neon Genesis and Rockman ones, the three left over came with the system and they suck. Two don't have spinecards, but Rockman 8 does, including authentic japanese scribblings by authentic japanese persons in the manual! Oooh, authentic. Bandai WonderSwan Colour--- Yay, they both came together also at convenient price and location. I'd love to get more WonderSwan stuff soon. So yeah. Again, not amazing at all. But I'd love to hear some feedback. ANY kind of feedback, please. You know I do have allot more stuff than this, Super Nintendo and some games, NES, broken Saturn, Gamecube and games, Master System...But I don't include them. Oh, and I try not to go for full priced games. The end. Thanks for looking.
Thanks people. Chocolate Bomberman? I wish...Well that's only about 28 entries you see there. My entire collection. 28...Mm hoping one day it'll get allot bigger than that. Exciting when it hits 100! Well how could I resist? They're dirt cheap and entertaining enough, for a while. 2nd Impression only has like half an hours' worth of gameplay though. Oh and before I forget, This is my...No it's too badly done to be called a website. This is the peak of my html skills. -_- (Click where I said "This".) Thanks for the feedback people. I should have more uninteresting artifacts soon enough.
Oh yeah. That's the toy. If it was chocolate I...Nah I couldn't eat it. Anyway, haven't updated in a while, but I've had various new entries since then. Haven't updated my site either. Hmm. THIS goes for insaneley cheap everywhere, so why not? I got it with THIS. Isn't the Japanese boxart just so awsome? And THESE I got in a big cheap bundle. Not all of them are complete though. I think one or two are missing the manuals, and some without the box inserts. Red and Green were included, but I already had them so gave them to my boyfriend. More stuff is on the way somewhat soon. And October onwards I'm going to try and update my WonderSwan and WonderSwan Colour collection, along with some Saturn games. Maybe. ...Does anyone know a decent host for amatuer websites? Like mine.
You know, it's really embarrasing to show my stuff here, because compared to everyone else...Well, whatever. I now have 46 entires in my collection. Pitiful, I know. Now lets see what I've obtained since I last posted... Okay. I've gotten Pocket Monsters Ruby and Rockman EXE BattleChip GP in my Advance section... ( Updated below ) My Gamecube section has recently been updated with...A Gamecube. And two games; Mario Golf Family Tour and Pokemon Box Ruby & Sapphire, it's a special bundle thingy. ( Updated below ) In the Nintendo DS section, I now have Pocket Monsters Pearl. ( Updated below ) And for my GameBoy Colour section, I now have The Legend of Zelda Nut of the Mysterious Tree...The nama goes on (aka, Oracle of Seasons) and Pokemon Panel Pon. ( Click ) And to think it's not even Christmas yet ^^ And you can tell that I'm a Pokemon and Rockman fan...I'll be getting four new games in the upcoming week, and I'll update this thread weather you like it or not. And I'm currently saving up for a Wii...
Why be embarrased, you have the makings of a great collection. You seem to have great taste in games too, its nice to see other collectors who like japanese nintendo stuff. Before you know it you will have so much import stuff you'll wonder where your going to put it all (^_^)
Thank you! That makes me feel better...I guess I'm doing okay. This whole collection has been made up within the space of...Two years, I think. And as for running out of space, it's already happening! I need more shelves. And looking at all the stuff I have, my Nintendo obsession is really obvious.. Anyway, got new stuff in the mail today. CLICK! I'm looking forward to Christmas now. And with those new entries, I am now up to my Collection holding a capacity of 50 items. The GCN section now looks like this (< Click), the GBA section is this (< Click) and the NDS section is this (< Click). The word "Click" has now lost its meaning.
(Blalant double post) I recieved the following today; Metroid Zero Mission Rockman EXE5 Team of Blues The Legend of Zelda Takt of Wind The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Nintendo GameBoy Advance (Rockman Custom) + Battle Network Rockman EXE2 GameBoy micro Wireless Adaptor Updated photos here and here. And the Rockman Custom GBA, one of the coolest models ever and I don't care what you say, is here; The Wii is also pretty fun too. I have another GCN game due in the mail soon, and I could be ordering my own Wii this month. Oh yes.
Great collection...I;m very fond for japanese box art Mind me asking where you picked your stuff up at?......do you got to Japan, or is it some super secret import store? Ryan
Yeah, Japanese boxart does rule ^^ I don't get them from anywhere secret or amazing, usually just Play-Asia and eBay. Only about 3 things in my whole collection have I actually bought from Japan personally, because I've only been there once. I usually go for the really cheap obscure titles, but I have been gaining a bit more financial freedom lateley. Anyway, recieved these in the mail today. This micro model is so shiny! And I thought it was just going to be a basic red and yellow, not a super reflective dark red and gold. It's great! I love micro's. And I love the first Zelda game. So now, my GameBoy Advance section looks like this and I got Animal Forest + a while ago, so my GameCube section looks like this. And I've decided not to get a Wii for now. It's too soon, I've only just recieved my PAL one so there's no point in buying something I more or less already have. I'll get a special model, if any are available, at the end of the year. But for now, I really want a clear blue N64... Thank you for your comments everyone!
Shame you dont have a EMS gamecube usb memory card as i could have given you some very special data for your copy of pokemon box. My save has every japanese event pokemon thats been done so far, all legitimate ones too. Then theres a complete set of male & female pokemon & a full set of shiny ones too. The non event pokemon are all hacks by the look of them as they have a unlikely trainer number. The best thing is the save has had its copy protection removed so it can be copied freely. I also have my save for doubutsu no mori + with a full set of famicom games including the unobtainables ones. If you ever pick up a usb memory card let me know & i'll hook you up with the saves if you want (^_^)
EMS USB Memory Card? Oooh. I'm guessing that's a 3rd party accessory. I'll have to get around to buying something like that...I'm guessing that the official SD Adaptor Memory Card by Nintendo wouldn't work the same way. I'd still love to get one of them though. Where'd you get all those Pokemon from then? Sounds as if they weren't originally yours. Anyway I'm guessing my next collection update will be, next week-ish.
Definately a nice start! I love that Japanese Oracle, hehe! I like the approach of buying cheap! You can still find some bargains like this, and who knows when they'll appreciate in value?
The memory card im talking about is this one http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-26-49-en-70-1yg.html It allows you to copy saves from it to your PC & back again. Only thing it cant do is back up copy protected saves like PSO unless you created the file on the usb memory card in the first place. As for the pokemon box save, i won it in a data auction off of yahoo auctions when i got my copy of pokemon box. Someone took the time to goto the events and gather the the event download pokemon. They all have the legit trainer numbers & names. On top of that they filled the rest of the space with full sets of hacked pokemon. Although the legendaries are legit ones if i remember.
I'll have to nab one of them eventually. I don't have any way of backing up or transferring save files so, why not? Thanks for the link. And I'm hoping that someday my stuff will be worth a lot. I suppose everything does over time. Anyway, got myself some Nintendo 64 stuff, at last. Click. Nothing special just yet...And I'll need to get myself a 64GB pack if I want to play Stadium to the full with my GB games. Well I might be getting a copy of Ocarina of Time soon. Who knows. And I'll have an update in my WonderSwan Colour section soon. Finally! You know, I like it how Play-Asia includes candy with some of their orders ^^
