Wow, that's pretty sweet! As with all the auctions, the seller has really overpriced it, though! I mean, c'mon - $300 for Excitebike??!?! Yeah, it is sealed, but that it bog standard shrink wrap, you can't prove it is the original! Silent Hill for $250?! And $130 for House of the Dead, not even sealed!!! :eek:h:  Wow!

They even admit to illegal activities!

...and of course, other than being illegal, this also means you have next to no insurance!

It's in a very good state of conservation, which is great. But I also believe that price is a little excesive (maybe).

I mean this is a classic event but you guys are totally right no one in their right mind would pay that much just for the poster and the ticket. Its just not happening.

The illustration of Luigi on that poster looks like total crap.

Hey! don't be so shure, there are many posters collectors out there, I'm serious!

Some movie posters reached more than 3000€ sometimes...

I'm no expert but I have a friend that is. Not sure about but I think that one from the movie shark is really expensive, also from the first movie of Star Wars. I can ask him if you are interested in :)

    OT...

Some movie posters go for massive money, hundreds of thousands of dollars. A lot of the 30's horror movie posters for example. In fact the only known Bride of Frankenstein 1 sheet sold for over $330k, and that was on linen! The mind shudders to think how much someone would drop if a fine no linen copy surfaced. Hell, a single Dracula lobby card (non-title) can sell for $50k and there are quite a few about. Now a Dracula poster..wow, BoF price I'm sure as iirc there are only 2 known copies of that!

Dodonpachi Daioujou Black Label posters regularly sell for 40,000+ yen... there are at least 100 of them (probably more like 150). Unfolded Progear poster... shit, I don't want to think about it. These aren't from the 30's either. :)
