    SCPH-10x PM-41 (2) - Mayumi v4 works fine with Anti Modchip Games

SCPH-10x PM-41 (2) (A) - Mayumi v4 fails on Anti Modchip Games. The games will load but will, at some point, be detected and stop working. All other games work fine.

I've used the soldering diagram for Mayumi v4 for SCPH-10x PM-41 (2) (A) with the same results. Anti ModChip games will eventually detect the chip. Can someone confirm whether they are able to play any of the antimod games with Mayumi v4 on SCPH-10x PM-41 (2) (A) with the diagram below? The games that can detect Modchips use something called Libcrypt and a Modchip has to be stealth in order to be able to play them or eventually the game will halt with a large Red Circle stating the system has been modified. If you've had success with Antimod games with Mayumi V4 and SCPH-10x PM-41 (2) (A) which soldering diagram did you use?

Again, motherboard revision SCPH-10x PM-41 (2) works fine with Mayumi V4 for Anti Mod games but motherboard revision SCPH-10x PM-41 (2) (A) hasn't worked with Modchip detecting games on any diagram I've found including the one's in this thread.

Here are a list of most of the US games that can detect modchips

    Protected Games [US/NTSC]
    Cool Boarders 2001
    Dino Crisis
    Emperor's New Groove
    Grind Session
    Legend of Dragoon
    MediEvil 2
    Mo-Ho Lost World
    NBA Shootout 2001 US/NTSC
    NCAA Gamebreaker 2001
    NCCA Final 4 2001 NFL Gameday 2001
    NHL Faceoff 2001
    Resident Evil: Nemesis
    Resident Evil: Survivor
Spyro 3 - Year Of The Dragon
    Strider 2
    The Grinch
    Tomba 2
    Vandal Hearts 2
    Wild Arms 2

Try using the "3" in this diagram. The "3" in that diagram and the MM3 diagrams are incorrect for the "PM-41 (2)" and "PM-41 (2) A" boards.

LibCrypt and the protected/anti-mod games are not the same thing. Anti-mod produces this scary screen:

LibCrypt does not and is used in PAL versions. Anti-mod is used in NTSC versions. LibCrypt relies in the disc being ripped/burned correctly (or patched) and is independent of the modchip used. I believe LibCrypt just gives a black screen if not fixed correctly.

First, which port of Mayumi v4 are you using? The original version designed for 12C508?

Which model are you installing it in specifically? Have you tried resoldering the points?

Zer0's post seems promising. Let us know if it works.

Zer0's post was the solution and yes I was referring to Anti-mod games! Sorry for the mixup with libcrypt.

Thank you Zero!!!! I've searched hi and low and never found a diagram with pin 3 connected to that point for Mayumi v4 for motherboard revision SCPH-10x PM-41 (2) (A). Now my ORIGINAL copy of Grindsession no longer gives me the Software Terminated, Console may have been modified message! Awesome!!! You guys rock!!

There are patches for those games, no need to mess with your console even more.

Glad it worked. I'll have to update the diagrams I have saved with the fix. Thanks Zer0.

He wants to play with original games (I assume an import):
