Yes, because his information was erased. Any date stored in the database is stored in Unix Epoch format, which is the number of seconds since January 1st, 1970. When there isn't a time, you get the 1969 date you're seeing.

For future instances like this, you might want to put together a simple script that goes through the PM table and removes all entries that have the same user id (the actual numerical identifier) as the member's. That way, if he / she didn't just go through the "who's online" list and sent one to every single member in the main list, unnecessary PMs sent to those who don't check their PMs or come here that often won't be sitting in the database.

Hello my name is Steve , i'm a web developer and i have a proposal for you, i'm about to launch a new web site is mainly a Forum web site, i'm looking for people to join me as moderators, they just have to create a section about anything and then fill that section with categories and posts, in return they'll have the right to an advertisement space wich they can fill with google adsense or a personal banner promoting other websites.
