MD unlicensed games just 12 dollars each (include MMX3, Mario 1 and 2 etc).

Can anyone explain how you can play mario on a Sega system? What are these?

 

They are just pirate hacks/ports/creations made to run on the MD.

There are 3 different 'Mario' games for the MD. They don't generally have set names as such as it just depends on what label/insert you get. Also people now buy cart only copies and make their own inserts.

The games. One is the 'block throwing' mario. Nes ChipnDale becomes MD Squirrel King, becomes mario game.

One is a copy of SMB All Stars version. (Also this version often has sonic replacing mario as the player character, known as Sonic 6)

One is a copy of SMW (really rare)

He probably has shipped it. I got my stuff the other day so yours will probably arrive soon. One thing to remember is that from my experience the French postal system can be quite slow getting stuff from the airport to your home unless the parcel was sent by something like EMS. Maybe that's why your goods have not arrived yet?

I already got like 3 packages from him in the last months of 2008,and it generally take 2 weeks.
But what is strange iws that he always email me with the tracking number,and now, after payment,no news for 1 month.

 

Yes, I never got a tracking number this time either. Maybe he's just been busy? I've ordered from him many times in the past and yes he can take a very long time to get stuff sent but in the end it always turns up. I guess the best you can do is wait. I'm sure your games will arrive eventually.

Busy enough to not answer emails for 4 weeks,which is pretty unusual with him.I always got tracking number from him,and packages arrived within 10 days.

I just hope i'll get what i paid for.

 

He doesn't have a home PC connection any more so maybe he isn't receiving your mails unless he was using a Yahoo or Gmail type account. Anyway, like I said, I'm sure you'll get your stuff. You aren't the only one waiting mate :nod: I probably got my stuff first (12 titles) because I was the first to order after he came back from his long absence.

You know that's not true Yakumo. I've been waiting since the end of October as has a chap I introduced IGS to. So before his absence. Yes, I have spoken with DR more recently, and I do have confidence he will come through eventually. But it kinda hacks me off tbh that I've been waiting 4 months now for a large order ($700/20 titles) to be shipped, and yet he has time more recently to make other deals and indeed ship some. (Not having a go at you mate, not your fault/problem) The deal with my friend is even greater in terms of value and numbers than mine, and my mate is always very strapped for cash and sells games to put food on the table (as DR mentioned he did too.....). And he's so nice he hasn't even brought it up, is just concerned that DR is OK!

Don't get me wrong, I've said all this to IGS and I do believe the games will come eventually. But if he can ship some, why not others? It does make you wonder..but I don't want to go there just yet. I have even offered numerous times to pay shipping again, no worries there.

I should also say we all know he's been going through hard times, I am sensitive to that, or hope I was/am, and whilst I've been waiting 4 months I was very very relaxed for the first 2.5 on the shipping situation, didn't hassle, kinda felt it best to leave him be to make sense of things. I don't want to add grief to someone over damn videogames.

But then he returns, explains what's up to everyone, takes more orders, makes promises, and yet I heard nothing, I had to ask what the sp was. A little grating if I'm honest.

Let me just restate, I have every confidence DR will come through on my deal, my mates deal, Adol's deal, any other deals he has outstanding. But I feel it's important to get this out there too, not to shame/embarass DR, but just cos its a bit of a mess that people should be aware of in case they're doing deals, and I suppose, despite how this post may read in parts, to show that I do support him, know he'll come good, and has just let things get a little out of hand with recent events.

I'm waiting like 40 titles.But i'm waiting them from October,since he mismatched sme titles back at the toime,or sent loose carts when i was expecting boxed games,so iwas waiting the boxes.
Then in January,he proposed me to buy 14 loose carts+insert (no boxes) in addition,and i accepted and paid..so basically i'm waiting 26 "old" games + 14 other ones, all paid for.
Last email i got is on 1st February, but last shipment is from October-Novembre, Wheelaa!
I didn't get anything more since that period,except emails.
And now, not even emails.

 

I see. An early deal not finished with you and then he adds a new deal on. This is not looking so good now. How much is the value of what you're owed now? I'm $700, my mate $1000 plus. You....$?

Well, I spoke or more like got a PM from him only 2 weeks ago. He probably hasn't been back on line since then. Let's hope he hasn't ran off with the cash.

It just grates, and then some, when he leaves me and others waiting for 3 months, and then come the end of Jan this year opens for business again without bothering to get in touch with those he has uncompleted deals with. And to take new orders and ship them is a fucking joke tbh (nothing bad on you Yakumo of course)

Ditto! I was in talks over around £90 worth of these carts, but the deal fell through.
