Mega drive 1 bnc cable vga mods/hacks going to work out

    I am going to work out a cheap way of makeing vga out put on a mega drive one.

    I will try and and make a way so no shell cutting and will keep everyone updated.

    Heres a picture of the cable i am waiting for in the post.

    That won't really work unless you have a scan converter of some sort or if your monitor supports the 15 KHz RGB that the Mega Drive puts out. VGA is usually at 31 KHz so you can't just go and hook up your Genesis straight into most computer monitors.

    Well i will be looking to building some cables soon and how it turns out.

    Like cloneing them.

    I want my Megadrive / Genesis on VGA!

    That would give a great picture...


    But, ApolloBoy is right. You will need to step the frequency down. This is the same issue with the Amiga RGB out.
