Hello, wondering if anyone could give me a hand... Just bought an Asian Mega Drive model 1, it's a PAL-I system for Hong Kong. Sound works great with AV cable (the one at the back) and with the headphone jack (the one at the front), but I have no picture at all. I know games are booting up fine because I can hear what I'm doing with the controller. I tried both an Asian cart and a Jap cart, they both boot up fine. The TV is an LG LCD. Both my PAL SNES and Super Famicom work fine on this TV so I'm really wondering what could be wrong. I'd like to try another AV cable just to make sure this one's not broken but before spending money I would like to get some advice cheers
No not really... I'm ordering an MD AV cable to see if mine is broken. Should also try to plug it to a different TV just to make sure it's not my TV. Any suggestion or anyone had this issue already? The mainboard looks perfect, doesn't look like any capacitor or piece of circuitry is broken/burnt.
