Spotted this cartridge on a Japanese site today. It's for the Mega Drive but contains 23 Master System games (not 130 like the Korean lable says). I don't know if these are raw Master System data or converted but the chances of this cartridge working on anything bar the original Mega Drive are slim. here's what's on it. No idea what that Korean title is however. While I'm here I'll post two pictures of a nice N64 Famicom clone  Yakumo
It's probably just a Mega Drive cartridge with Master System ROMs on it. Since the Mega Drive contains the CPU used in the Master System, it is possible to run Master System games on your Mega Drive. There is a certain pin on a cartridge that can put the Mega Drive in Master System mode.
I've seen a very similar one: The name of this cart is "재미있는 게임 모음집(Jaemiinneun Game Moeumjip)" It means "Interesting Game Collection". The list of the games: 01 둘리(Dooly) - An original Korean SMS game, using famous Korean animation character "Dooly". 02 더블 타켓(misspelled - should be '더블 타겟)' - Double Target, SMS Game(Quartet's Japan Ver.) 03 도시의 건맨(Dosi-ui Gunman) - means "Gunman in the city". maybe a gun game? 04 환타지존 - Fantasy Zone 05 공주 구출(Gongju Guchul) - means "Rescue the princess". maybe PitPot? 06 테디 보이 - Teddy Boy 07 토토 월드 - Toto World. Korean original SMS game. 08 특명(Teungmyeong) - means "Special Mission" 09 마계열전(Magye Yeoljeon) - means "Deadheat fight in the demon's world". It's also a Korean pronounciation of 魔界烈戦(Makai Ressen), Japanese name of Kung Fu Kid. 10 환타지대결(Fantasy Daegyeol) - means "Fantasy Battle" 11 람보 - Rambo. I think it's Rambo II. 12 토토의 세계(Toto-ui Segye) - means "Toto's World". same as Toto World
Cyberguile, I take it you can speak Korean. I can see the Korean text you have written but what I'd like to know is how you go about writing that on a Japanese keyboard. Do Korean keyboards have Korean characters on them just like Japanese keyboards do or do you just type the Roman sound out which the PC then changes in to Korean (the way I type in Japanese). Yakumo
Actually, a friend of mine is Korean ^^ I first tried to use the windows linguistic tool bar, but it took about ten minutes to find a single name game so I asked her for some help lol For the keyboards, no clue.
Yeah, he's right. I'll buy one if any of you are willing to sell it to me. What site showed the cart?
http://www.joker-x.com It's a Japanese indi game shop that seems to sell all sorts of crap. I take it taht they do exports out of japan since theyhave some English on the site but I've yet to read it so I could be wrong. Yakumo
Haven't seen those ones before, but I have seen a similar 16-in-1 Asian pirate that also contains Mark III/SMS games. It uses the MegaDrive's backward-compatibility mode in the same way that the Phantasy Star re-release does.
