HI i will keep this short i want to know what mega drive fans think of these bootlegs.
personally i think some of them like wolfchild and the punisher look really good.
Of course none of these games below had a Official Japanese release on the meag drive...

So is this a cool thing to collect i'm not so sure but i might pick up one or two maybe.

Where did you find them? They look kinda cool. I'm not familiar with any of those games except for Double Dragon. I'd like to see a Vectorman MD mockup/bootleg.

Are those from a Japanese eBay seller?? I saw them a while back and just for a second thought they were the real deal. Soon realised they were repro/bootlegs, I agree Wolfchild and Punisher look great don't like the others at all. The covers look poor in my opinion, to expensive as well, great discussion pieces or to add to a complete collection I would say.

The price is way too high. I can do you the same deal minus the manual for $30 or less. I also make my own custom Japanese style MD game covers. I've posted a few here in the past.

Sure. While most of my covers are pretty perfect copies of the originals I have made a few original covers for game that were not released in Japan. Here's a few plus the cartridge stickers which I'm pretty proud of :) A lot of work went in to creating those.

Very nice i love the rolling thunder 3 artwork and the cart stickers look amazing :)

one day it might be really hard to tell the difference between real and bootleg game's soon.
i know its not a real bootleg but you know what i mean.

what do you use to print them.

Bootlegs will never have the right PCB inside so it will be easy to tell just by weight alone I think. To print out the covers and stickers i make I use a Canon Fine PIX MG4130 printer. It's nothing extra special, just a nice HQ printer.

all over the net or personal scans. The Robocop VS Terminator art came from a comic book that the original art work came from. I had to crop it in to the same size as the original cartridge, made the logo myself and add all the text myself as well. That one took a while to do. The Vampire Killer one was also another pain to do. I got the original artwork from some japanese fan site then had to crop it and build the cartridge image to look like the official one.

I can't really tell the difference you've done a real good job on them.

i have to say i was annoyed a bit when i found out that the Japanese artwork for RvsT was ripped straight from the comic book by the same name :( but its still loads better compared to the Euro cover and the terrible U.S one......oh that's a bad cover for a videogame.
