  2. WTF!!!!

Now, i understand Ling Jr's obscenely massive collection. Loads of different machines, dev units etc., all collected over a period of time.

And I can understand ppls who have 2 GCs: one for PAL and one NTSC/NTSC-J switchable.

And I thought me having a PAL Saturn upstairs and a NTSC-J one downstairs was a bit excessive.

But 60 SNES units, 8 DCs and 5 GCs????? Plus multiples of many others?? WTF! Did this guy own a store or something? This can't be a personal collection. Crazy.

I think that regardless of the ending price (which can't be *that* high) you'll be getting value for money on this :smt043

I find this rather odd though:

    re

    Wow, Charlotte...

If I bought it (there's not a snowball's chance in Hell I have that much money :)), I could just drive a few hours to pick it up :p.

Oh wait, wouldn't I need a few truck rentals? :)

Seriously, though, that is one insane "collection", although I get the feeling that he's probably just selling off a store of his or something...

If games aren't his specialty then what's he doing with all those machines :smt042

Who the hell is going to pay 60 - 80 dollares for a NES or 80 - 125 dollars for a 2600? You'd have to be crazy to pay that.

A lot of people will if they don't have a clue about the actual value (like people buying them as a gift for friends but have never played the system themselves), just fling it on ebay and say Super r@re look ultimate limited edition super r@re system and throw in a $75 buy now option instant cash guarantied :smt043

That guy has been trying to sell that in one lot on Digital Press and Neo-Geo for a while now. If I had the $ I'd buy it and sell what I didn't want... I guess we all would. :smt043
