    Hi Guys,

I recently bought a Mega Jet off of eBay and I was wondering if it is possible to use a UK (220v) power cable with it, or will I have to get another power converter? I know the PSU is on the plug but are the inputs the same? or is the power brick specific to the Mega Jet?

    Thanks in advance!

It got nothing to do with AC voltage, find 10v PSU with proper polarity, here you can see some photos, including PSU, which looks like a standard european/asian one. Since it's working fine on those pictures looks like it's ok for Mega Jet. But let's wait for other answers here, correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't see any VRM on PCB, no 7805 or something like that. If that's true then it's better use regulated PSU.

Just use a standard Megadrive 2 unit from UK for the 220V setup. After all, the Megajet is basically a Nomad minus the screen.

So, there is VRM on Mega Jet PCB (never opened MJ or Nomad myself)

Mega Jet uses the center positive DC input. Same as 32X, Nomad, and North American Game Gear.

You may not use a Japanese or PAL Game Gear adapter.

Maybe, I'd try to save that for something bigger. A waste of space and money here.

BTW RGB SCART should work. It does for Nomad after all.

I guess. Not that I find them generally worth owning.

The transformers I've used for my Saturn and Dreamcast are just little plugs that outputs 110v, I will get another one of those but it's just more waiting :p

Not to revive this thread for no reason (I came in from a search a few weeks back), but to provide some closure I can confirm that the Sega MegaJet can output RGB, unmodified. Just use the same SCART cable as you would a MD2. I did it last week when I was thoroughly testing a MegaJet that came into my possession recently.
