Mega Man 9 NES Development Discord Server

Ever since the release of MM9, I’ve always been enamored with the concept of remaking the game into an NES ROM that could be stuck onto a cartridge. The limited release of the Press Kit further fueled this ambition.

I have created a server strictly for development purposes.

With this project, I hope to create a version that is as faithful to the original game as possible.

Is this just an idea or have you actually made anything?

 

I’m the primary artist for the project. I also am creating promotional material (Eg. Box, instruction manual, etc.)

 

So who's doing the programming? Has anything actually been done on the project yet? Got anything running in an emulator?

 

Not yet. I’m waiting for more people to populate the server first.

I'm with Bramsworth. This project is essentially DOA without any programmers, demos, or prototypes. No point to talk about anything else really as everything depends on dev.
