I just created a post asking for PS2 SCART cable recommendations and, as I'm also after MD1 and a MD2 SCART cables, I decided to start a new thread for these.

I actually read someone (I believe from this forum) recommending these:

Personally, I previously got a MD2 SCART cable from here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-seller-S...Accessories&hash=item2567c1aa14#ht_2995wt_964 ...and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. It creates audio noise when there's white on the screen (i.e. the startup screen before the SEGA logo)

    Cheers!

I'm not an expert on electronics... but I guess that the magnetic choques would be inside the ends of the cable, therefore I couldn't really tell until I buy the cable and open it up, right?

Haven't seen a SCART like that. But yeah we could use someone in the states who can repair/mod RGB cables.

You can get clip-on Ferrite cores (like >this< one) that should retrofit most types of cable, although it might not have much of an effect if the cable itself is already poorly shielded (internally). Video noise crossing over onto the audio is the usual complaint with cheaper cables.
