Not Cartridge issue, since i tested with few games... The strange is, when it freezes, if you reset it wont work anymore, but If you turn off and turn on will work yet again. By the way, After 20 minutes or so the game always freezes. Some cartridges when you play more than 20 minutes and freezes, the audio stop working and crash right at title screen or logo screen. Semetimes doesnt even work. Is it overheating? which pieces could be the problem? Edit: After lettin' it on for 40 minutes or so, the game stopped working completely. had to wait some time to start working again... Seems it IS overheating. Will open the game to see what is overheating Updates: -Seems the CPU is heating a lot -the heatsink isn't completely touching the board (doesn't matter i guess) -The font is hot as fuck and is 9V(850ma) CPU: Sharp Z80B LH0080B Looks like i bought a bootleg... damn. The Sega Service Manual shows a completely different circuit Fuck me. Anyone know a wayto the cpu stop overheating? or a replacement with a better one. And is possible to be the font since is 9V(850ma)? Another updates When i test with Sonic 2, the console will freeze faster. if i use Batttle Golfer YUI the game takes more time
Sorry, AC adapter lol were quite sleppy when made this thread. update: Today came my AV cable. And well... I thought something was wrong with the RF cable, but not. The console is sending a PIIIIIIIIIII sound and bad image to the television. Looks like the piece that is faulty is every time getting worse. I probably will give up... since the board is completely different, i can't deppend on service manual... sigh*
