    Hello,

I have recently try to make a Megadrive 2 "VA1 JAP Motherboard" with "SEGA 315-5487-10 Chip" accept PAL / US / JAP games.

I use the same technic as usual, and US and Jap games are runing perfectly.

It appears that the pin 46 of the SEGA 315-5487-10 Chip is not working as all Megadrive 2 I have previously modded. Impossible to get the 50 Hz.

    Any tips?

Have found some genesis don't like 50hz switching, in particular model 1 va7. This could use the same chip.

    Thanks for your repply guys.

@ bart_simpson : I have already upload a picture of the whole pcb. If you have picture of your modded Japanese MD2, maybe it could help.

@ Omp : You are right, VA7 motherboard seems to use similar SEGA 315-5487-10 Chip, the SEGA 315-5487-01. But without 50 Hz, it will be impossible to run PAL games... that is a problem.
