Hello, I'm having some problems with my Model 2 MegaDrive and my Samsung TV/PC monitor. I've created my own Scart cable according to mmonkey's guide and it works great on CRT TVs and a few other newer TVs. Unfortunately, it flickers on my Samsung 2033HD. Well it normally only flickers for a short amount of time, but it can take up to one minute for games such as Sonic The Hedgehog to play normally. It seems to be trying to sync. It seems to do that only when it boots at 60Hz or when I try to switch from 50 to 60Hz. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix that? Here's a video of it in action, sorry for the really low resolution, cellphone's camera is not really good http://www.mediafire.com/?mniomjzozmn

I don't get it, can you explain it better? Which grounds exactly? The ones on the scart cable that goes to the tv, the ones on the plug for the MD? Any site for that?
ok http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/sega/md2-scart.htm and you will understand i bourght some rgb scarts from ebay have to do this every thime i buy them ? hope this helps you the outer metal on the scart must on the ground like the earth on plug sockets. take care hope you solve this problem.
Check if your TV has a "Colour System" option, and if so set it to 'PAL 60'. I found that solved my problem of flickering screens.
