I've ran into a interesting issue with my RGB cables. When large amounts of bright color are on screen, the picture begins to shake. Past a certain point it'll begin rolling!

Stereo model 1 cable results: Sonic 3 is pretty noticeable, especially its level select and chaos emerald screens. Among the worst victims is Super Fantasy Zone (Everdrive).
Tested Genesis 1 and JPN Megadrive 1. Having both consoles modified for US/JP switch obviously didn't help. Neither did a lifted VDP subcarrier pin on the JPN console.

TV: approx 27" Panasonic SD CRT.
converter: CSY-2100 type SCART to YUV (seen here)

On the other hand, the mono model 1 cable isn't so bad. Mostly VERY white screens.

I haven't recently checked my model 2 cable, Genesis 2, Master System, 32X, or Sega CD. So I don't quite remember how those went...

Peak rolling looks like this example.

How are the RGB cables wired?

Yeah, does it have the standard resistors+capacitors on R,G,B?
Possibly increases the resistances a tiny bit, think spec is up to 750milliVolt on these pins.

Comp sync not 100% how it should be for your converter though, could mess with things.
I've seen some attach so called sync splitters on Megadrives to get just a comp sync signal out instead of sync+compvideo since some TV inputs don't like it.

I haven't tried to open the cables. Most likely I need stronger resistors. Except even if that's true I'm not a modder to deal with it.

Still I'd rather have to turn up my TV brightness slightly more, than sit through picture roll.
