I know the western one where pretty common - but its the first time I run into this one. Is it just as common?
I've seen a couple of them before, but they're definitely harder to find than the US/Euro versions. Is it yours? I'd be very interested if you're looking to part with it, since I've got a couple of Mark III carts sitting here gathering dust until I get hold of some hardware...
Yeah, but they're £17 for an ugly bare circuit board, and I've heard that they aren't great build quality. I'd rather get an official one, or better still a Mark III or JP SMS. It's in the pipeline eventually
I've been hunting them down now for about a month... In America they're expensive as hell ($85 is the last I found on eBay, in a Japanese merchant's store) and on Yahoo Japan they're about $35-$40 the last I saw, but then you have to factor in the shipping and any fees should you go through a deputy service, so that's another $20-$30. They're definitely not as common as the U.S. version, but nothing especially special, either. Just a bit tough to obtain, no matter where you try to get one. :smt033
Those are the converted from Tototek.com. They are unnecessary tall, but the hardware quality is excellent. I believe they sell version build into cartridge cases.
its not mine but I may be able to get ahold of it. maybe when I do I'll put it in the selling forum - see if we can trade up?
This is the auction for that item: http://www.mercadolivre.com.br/jm/item?site=MLB&id=20870585 It's on 85 reais (around 28 US dollars)
here's something else from that site: yep - its a pc engine shuttle clone!!!! for about 50 dollars starting bid - working condition unknown. about the mark iii adaptor. I may know of someone who has it boxed.
that's a tectoy product though (official brazilian sega product). not quite the same I know but did you know it existed?
pump it through a nomad or multimega then you got a portable retro machine :smt040 :smt024 :smt023 sorry i think it is one cool MF of a machine :smt033
Given the long-standing popularity of the Master System and its games in Brazil, this should come as a surprise to noone that's familiar with the market. :smt033
