I'm not sure if the following has been covered elsewhere on the forums (so please disregard this message and forgive me if that's the case), but someone is selling what they claim to be the only cartridge for an unreleased 16-bit game by Psygnosis:

I suspect the recent closure of Sony's Studio Liverpool may have something to do with this only surfacing now, though from what I've seen it doesn't really look all that good. Does anyone have further information about this one, and whether there are preservation or release plans on the cards already? Somebody here must surely be watching...

Had this been brought to market, I would have bought it. Though, "Bill's Tomato Game"? That's best name they could come up with?

I also don't see a HUD of any sort, or anything that really resembles gameplay. For a game that's supposedly "complete" why wouldn't he take better screenshots?

I remember that crap from the Amiga. I'm not surprised it wasn't released on the Mega Drive. Old British computer games looked way out of place on consoles. Funny thing is that quite a few British made computer games did make it on to the Mega Drive such as Fatal Rewind / Killing Game show (Made by Bizarre Creations of MSR / Project Gotham fame), Xenon II minus the cool Bomb the Base soundtrack, Speed Ball 2, Cannon Fodder, Sensible Soccer and Shadow of the Beast (1 poor version by Pysgnosis or a division of them and a better version by Victor Japan.) to name but a few. Actually, I found al of them pretty crap apart from Fatal Rewind. I quite liked that.

I thought Dream won it? Perhaps he moved it on.
I remember the previous auction..I dropped out of the bidding around £800-900.
Too much for my blood atm.

Edit - from checking the other thread seems I dropped out nearer the £900. I was the closest loser lol, but back then that was way too much. Would have sold for 1/2 that had I and the ultimate buyer not got into a war.
Good luck to the seller though...
