i love the fact they made a reference to one of the series latest competitors, splinter cell. Doubtful, but maybe one day we can see a snake vs fischer game?
What system is the Subsistence (sp?) coming out on? I might pick it up. This is a series I've neer touched.
They say it's set AFTER MGS2!! I hope they finally conclude the Patriots storyline and finish things between Snake and Ocelot. This is the Metal Gear that I've been waiting for, because it definitely was NOT MGS3 (good as it was). I'll have to swap my copies of MGS2 & MGS3 for the Substance versions though.

God, I wish Subsistence would be relaeased on the Xbox. I want to play it on Xbox live instead of PS2s live.
wow! that's amazing, but i don't understand that new online mode and new camera...is it only for the online (a special soldier view?) or for the entire game? and i'm really happy they'll continu the patriot storyline, i might be the only one, but i liked mgs2 alot. Edot: Vamp's back, along with meryl from what it seems. The two characters on the right are puzzeling me though. and what about raiden with his right arm broken? unplayable character then, uh?
MGS3 subsistence= "MGS3: Extra-money-in-our-pockets" Online mode is head to head multiplayer fighting feature that everyone cried for. I bet Hideo held it to make more money, IMO. I didnt much care for MGS2s story, since it was convoluted TO DA MAX, and confusing, and I hated that idiot Raiden. Im glad the story is being finished, though. Did anyone notice that Big bosses remains is set up as a main character?! Maybe he comes back or something. Stranger things have happened in this series. Im still going for a goal of getting everything MGS, so Im pretty glad for all this. I know MGS2 Substance was on the Xbox, and Subsistence will no doubt go over to the Xbox as well. One reason being that its online, and another is that MGS2 already was on it in the first place. Metal gear online...WOULD...PWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :happyhap: :happyhap: :happyhap:
Mgs 2 wasn't that confusing, and i'm no english expert either, so.. anyway, MG is imo one of the best video game serie ever created, on every levels.
Can you explain what the "Patriot A.I.s" are then? And how Whats her face was already pregnant with Raiden's kid if he didnt even know her? Perhaps MGS4 will fix it up. Wouldnt it be cool if you went back to the same Jungle as Solid Snake that Big boss went to? Thats kinda what I think will happen. I also was thinking suburban warzone according to the movie.
