But well what the fuck, the game is screwed up. And when Otacon said he had an incestual thing with his stepmom, then I was like "oh well can we get any more bizarre ?"
The whole thing about Vamp being the lover of Scott Dolph just seemed like a inside joke that was taken way too far.
I've heard that Kojima is an open bisexual so a lot of his characters are that way, too. Vamp was gay for the Marine guy, and straight for Fortune, I think. Also, Volgin was gay for some womanly looking guy named Raikov, who looked like Raiden. Can't remember if he had a female lover or not, but I think he was interested in them, too. I don't care what anyone says about Volgin, I thought he was a total badass until he said "WH-WHAT DID YOU DO TO MAH IVAN-POOH! ;_;" About the bisexual = gay thing, well, I think its kinda true. Its like they're all gay and all straight but they still are gay. But thats all I'm gonna say about that for the sake of not igniting another flamewar. I also have heard that Raiden was put into the game because Kojima interviewed a lot of non gamer Japanese girls about what he should put into his next game, and bishonen pretty boy was the answer. And speaking of Vamp, he really really looks like Big Boss with long hair in the pictures and trailers I've seen of MGS4. I bet you he's another clone. I also think Big Boss is coming back. Hell, MGS4 could have giant mutant zombie alien cyborgs in it because of how fantasy-like the story is.
I don't know, thats why I said "I've heard" that. As for the thing about the non gamer girls being interviewed by him, thats true.
Oh well, homosexuality/bisexuality wasn´t a big deal in ancient Japan. So why should it be different now there. But what I ment is, if you are bisexual, then it doesn´t mean you are gay. Because you have a male lover, since you are still bisexual . And if you have a female lover, then you are still bisexual. But I still think, that the MGS games are great, and cool even if they are quite screwed in the corners.
Honestly I think is good that games with deep (and kinda screwed) storylines become this successful since that helps to destroy that dumb cliche among the mainstream that all games have simple and childish stories that arent worth shit. After all, they said the same about cartoons and transformers is now the movie of the year, even when it isnt that great, yet is better than most hollywood crap these days:110:
Yup, thats one of the reasons I like MGS and stuff like Xenogears, definetly not the norm kind of stuff.
