I grabbed this yesterday. Anyone else? It was definitely a launch game for me, but it was delayed until now. The only issues I have with it so far are some of the loading times in Metal Slug 3. I havn't played through all of the series yet, only X, 5, and 6. First time to play 6, and it's definitely better than I expected, but then again, I even enjoyed the seemingly universally hated Metal Slug 4, and though 5 was almost as good as 3. I'll have to spend more time with it, and I won't even bother with the control schemes. Simply don't care, and the classic controls where you flick the remote to throw grenades works fine, though I may find an arcade stick to see how that plays.
Debating picking this up today. I've played all except 6 using an arcade stick, don't know if its worth is to replay them all using a GC controller.
If you have friends that will play along with you, then its definitely worth it. Hell, 6 alone is almost worth the 40 dollar entry fee itself. Wii, PSP, and (rumored) PS2. Though, even if the PS2 version exists, it probably wont come out in the states.
