I've got the press kit for that game, i'll try to take a scan of what i got (after i find my scanner... it's here somewhere).

As for the authenticity, if it's stamped it's real. It's not really worth it to make fake white labels... If the bottom of the disc is blue, then it's a fake. If it's on a CD-R it's fake. If it's on a stamped disc that isn't a GD-Rom it's fake.

It looks real enough to me. I also have that disc. As long as it's a stamped disc like ProgrammingAce said I see no reason why it wouldn't be real.

Mmm I think I have another MSR white label disc, the title seems different from mine.

    There are two different demos:

    1. "Metropolis Street Racer"..... Based on the actual game.

    2. "MSR - Opel challenge" ... where I pressume one can only drive with the Opel Speedster.
-Opel being the German version of Vauxhall (UK) and Saturn (USA)-

    ;-)

While it appears real to me, I wouldn't necessarily attest to it. I looked at the pic a little bit closer and noticed that on the edges of the disc appear to be a poorly cut label. It doesn't look completely round to me. If it were real, wouldn't it be almost perfectly cut?

    Just my two cents...

Erm im guessing that he use a magic wand to cut the disc out of a picture and then put it on the black background.

So the Opel challenge disc is worth only about $11?

    :(

I had been hoping it was worth a bit more than that. I came by a copy rather strangely, off some crazy bearded dude at a market place.

It has been sold sometimes in Ebay for around £40, so to find it for $11 is a good purchase.

  11. yeah I was pretty surprised that I was able to get it so cheap.. and that's the only reason I questioned the authenticity.. I'm pretty sure it's worth quite a bit more than that.

  12. It came in the mail today and it's definitly authentic.. the only thing is that i'm just a bit dissapointed because all it basically is is the demo version of MSR that was on the Offical Dreamcast Magazine's demo disc. The only difference is the option to play in either 50 or 60hz.
