I've got a 16M DRAM card and SFC adapter for the Multi Game Doctor 2 a few days ago.

I already own a 16M DRAM card and SFC adapter. When I compared the DRAM cards I noticed that the card is slightly thicker than my old one:

The SFC adapter has a slightly thicker slot as well:

The thin card works fine in the thick adapter. However the thick card does not fit in the adapter with the thin slot.

Overall the different size of the DRAM cards and adapters could be pretty annoying if you buy a spare DRAM card and it does not fit into your adapter :banghead:

Bung still surprises me with their hardware.

Probably to allow for cheaper chips to be used.

    Never noticed myself.

The original cards probably use SOJ chips, the newer cards probably use TSOP.
