Here is an old tutorial I wrote 2 years ago It was posted on another board, but I think some of you never see it. Hope it will be usefull for some of you ;-) http://www.divshare.com/download/450566-aa4
thanks for posting. It's great to see mods for such old systems. I was lucky and found a replacement floppy with a 24pin connector for my MGD2. However it took me years to find it.
Where did you found it? My two floppies broken as well. I'm trying to avoid replacing them with normal folppy, because you are not able to build the whole thing together after replaycement, because normal floppy isn't slim line. Tanks, rocco
I've got if from an old Laptop (Intel 386). Don't remember the model though. However I've posted the model number of two MGD2 compatible citizen floppy drives here in the forums.
Sorry, but I didnt found the thread. Can you please post either the link to it or the two floppies you found to be compatible? Thanks, Rocco
I had to search for the thread aswell, but I found it  http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6836&page=2&highlight=citizen compatible: Mitsubishi: MF355S-215MG CITIZEN: U1DA-64G 5V 420mA probably ConsoleFun knows some more compatible floppy drives?
