MGS Languages

I've asked this elsewhere, but I've never gotten a satisfactory answer. Is there a way to play any of the games in the Metal Gear Solid series with the original (Japanese) audio and English subtitles? And I mean any way at all. The English dubbing has always kind of annoyed me; it isn't terrible, but it could be better.

 

You could buy the Japanese versions.

Do any of the Japanese versions have English subtitles? I've heard that MGS2 Substance does.

 

hack your game , get the american version and japanese version and change the pack that has all the voices

 

Hmm... that would be fine except that I don't really want to mod my PS2.

 

I thought, though I'm not sure, that Metal Gear Solid Integral had English in it. I'm not sure if it was just the entire English-voiced game or if there were subtitles of any sort. It's worth looking into, though.

 

99% sure the Japanese version of Integral has English subs.

 

Can anyone verify that?

 

Yet to move the games collection over to my new joint but give us a day or two and I'll be able to confirm/deny. Hopefully you'll get an answer before then though.

I have also heard that the Japanese edition of Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance has English subtitles. Is that true? What about MGS3? Is there any edition of that with English subtitles?

Integral has English(or Japanese) subs.....but also English(and only English) audio.
