I've seen their other MGS videos before. Very interesting stuff. If you look at the previous video, when they enter the cure menu it states: "Cure Mode is now under construction. It will invalid in E3 2004."
I'm sure there's already enough people PMing asking in the most annoying way possible, so most likely no.
If that's true it is a shame. The many people who wait patiently for such releases will never get it because of the whinging of a few
It looks that way, in another video you see him try to access the cure menu to have it say something about it being under development until E3 2004. Also some of the descriptions for the items/weapons are worded differently I'm much more interested in a beta/proto for 1 and 2 (especially 2, even if the trial version that came with ZOE is pretty "beta-ish"), but its good to see some MGS beta footage for any of them. I'm hoping someone here can get intouch with him
The MGS2 Trial version videos are quite interesting to watch, It shows him using a stinger, PSG1 and nikita on the tanker (With no model and the same laser sighting as the M9 but explosions still work etc)....also shows him planting C4 and using a bomb sensor (which works) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5k0XEU-hYo It's wierd how no-one has bothered to look through this considering its one of the most popular games of all time
Fun fact for the day! During development, konami had to build a new collision engine for the game due to the jungle environment having rocky terrain and unlevel geometry for snake to step over. The game was using a heavily modified MGS2 engine, which if you've played MGS2 you would notice that game was mostly on flat ground with little geometry differences. The game had to be set at 30FPS instead of 60FPS due to its features and the graphics.
Yeah, there's a verry early video showing off the camo types and that was using the MGS2 engine that was running in 60fps The HD Version also runs at 60FPS.......for the most part Edit : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGNpU1tKlxI
I bought a bootleg japanese demo of MGS1 from a games shop called 'Games & James' in NYC, 1998 ... I remember that the helipad/tank hangar (basically the contents of the demo) were fairly early compared to the retail version. Was the Fork a selectable weapon in the retail MGS3?
Yeah you could equip the fork and if you attacked animals walking around you would eat them right away instead of having to go into the survival menu
