Fucking sad. What a joke the legal system has turned out to be here in the US.

I for sure thought his ass was going there for life, but then it said even if convicted on all counts, he would only get 18 years.

But in all seriousness, it was a joke of a case. It sounded like the jury recorded not guilty and played it over and over. HOW CAN HE NOT BE GUILTY OF USING "JESUS JUICE"!!!!????

    Exactly.
Perhaps the jurors fear yet another riot in the wake of the Rodney King trial, hence their overly lenient verdict. Whatever the case, it just seems hard to believe.

:smt009 oh well... now the media will have to find something else to endlessly blab on about
although i'm sure they'll still drag this out a while longer.

They, perhaps, feared a riot would take place, and perhaps they would die.

Thank god. Some fucking skank is always whoring out their child to weasle money from Jackson. Hopefully this will put a stop to it.

Some people will do anything for money.

I think Funkstar has pretty much expressed my opinion upon this case.

That is the problem. Regardless of the mother's motives on letting her child stay with Jackson, the fact is that he should have been found guilty on most, if not all of the criminal charges against him. No sane person can possibly say that Jackson did nothing wrong.

Personally, I think every parent that let a child go to his ranch should be brought up on child endangerment charges.

Who says that just because a child stays over night, he's been abused?

50 years ago, if a multi-millionaire had taken in under privileged children, bought them stuff, taken them places, he'd have been hailed as some kind of Saint.

    Or sleep with them?

Touching them would be wrong. Sleeping in the same bed, with absolutely no sexual contact, is not.

How do you know if he doesnt touch them or not? There are testimonies of children saying he did things to them WAYYYY before this case occured, so there is credible proof. I mean, really, who would make that up? This case was just a couple of copy-cats, but Michael still was probably guilty. He even gave them "Jesus Juice" AKA wine.

How do you know he did? You don't know him, nor do you know the children involved. You have absolutely no idea whether or not this is akin to the McMartin trial, and neither do I. The difference is, I'm assuming innocence in the absence of knowledge of proof, and you're assuming guilt. You're welcome to do so, but I'm welcome to advocate against it =P

Give me a break. Inviting kids over to sleep in your bed when you are a forty-six year old man is not only wrong, It's totally fucked up. Only in California (Which I've concluded is the most out of whack state in this country) could someone get away with this. Anywhere else and he'd be on his way to jail right now.

Hmm, I think that no one here or anywhere can say Jackson is guilty or not. Look at the hard facts.

    1. Jackson is rich !

    2. Low live scum will exploit this to get rich quick without giving a shit about the victim.

    3. Jackson is an easy target due to all the stories about him.

    4. Jackson is indeed odd but who's to say he's a kiddy fiddler.

    5. The law in the US is fucked up beyond belief. You can get sued for picking up a kid in the states.

    6. Think about if you were filthy rich and invited kids in to your home. What stories would they make about you?

    7. Sleeping with others is not wrong as long at no physical contact is involved. The Japanese were doing this for centuries. I know of one or two families that still do it now. True it's odd but not wrong. For fucks sakes, Japanese people shower together etc (man and boys, women and girls) nothing sexual at all about that.

I'm not saying Jackson is a saint and by all means he could be a guilty as hell but the bottom line is that we are not him so we don't know. I don't believe a single word of any of the convicting group. It's all money money money.
